My work explores quiet moments and inner landscapes—spaces where emotion, memory, and presence intersect. Working across acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and drawing, I create figurative scenes, urban environments, and atmospheric landscapes that reflect stillness, human connection, and the subtle narratives embedded within everyday life.

Rather than documenting a specific place or event, my paintings seek to capture a state of being—a pause between movement and thought, observation and feeling. Light, color, and atmosphere guide each composition through an intuitive, layered process, allowing mood and emotional resonance to emerge gradually.
Through this approach, I invite viewers into contemplative spaces that encourage personal interpretation and quiet reflection within an increasingly fast-moving world.

Jenny Shargorodsky is a contemporary painter whose work explores quiet moments, emotional landscapes, and the connections that shape everyday life. Jenny has developed her practice through continued exploration of acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and drawing. She creates figurative scenes, urban environments, and atmospheric landscapes that
Jenny Shargorodsky is a contemporary painter whose work explores quiet moments, emotional landscapes, and the connections that shape everyday life. Jenny has developed her practice through continued exploration of acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and drawing. She creates figurative scenes, urban environments, and atmospheric landscapes that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with their own memories and experiences.
A self-taught artist, Jenny has developed an intuitive, layered approach to color, light, texture, and atmosphere. Her paintings often move between observation and emotion, transforming ordinary places and moments into visual narratives with a sense of mystery and possibility.
Her work has been exhibited in juried and group exhibitions in Florida and New York, including Art Garage, Red Dot Miami and Spectrum Miami Art Expo, ArtExpo New York, Wellington Art Society, and exhibitions organized by Artists of Palm Beach County. Her paintings have also appeared in art publications and international online exhibitions. In 2026, her work received a People’s Choice Award through the Wellington Art Society, First place in Landscape 2026 in CAG online, and she has been selected for multiple juried exhibitions and competitions.
Jenny continues to explore new subjects and techniques while remaining committed to the central idea behind her practice: finding beauty, emotion, and meaning in the quiet moments of life.
